Infringement of Human Rights

The Correlates of Human Rights Violations dealt primarily with the differing views of political leaders on the importance of delegating the intrinsic human rights, as preferably suited with their nations own unique prevailing politicalsocietal climate.  Indeed, it is truly an unfortunate reality that certain nations, such as China and several mid-Eastern nations, upholds the universality of human rights as a causal factor to the detriment of the power and authority exercised by their respective leaders.  While it may be true that the modern ideologies surrounding the tenets of freedom and human rights have been greatly influenced by Western principles, it nevertheless holds true that the same factors ought to be enjoyed by global populations irrespective of their nationality.  Likewise, Secretary of State Henry Kissingers stand on these precepts, stating that a wise policy maker must negate personal sentiments for the good of the national interest, ought to be viewed from an objective perspective, as it is widely considered that the United States constitution upholds its citizens rights as one of its major assurances.

The sensitivity of infringing the human rights of a given population was greatly manifested in Nationalism and The Orange Revolution, where Ukrainians had emphatically expressed their sentiments on a questionable outcome of a Presidential election.  Moreover, their sense of nationalism has opened avenues for mass-actions that were directed at improving on a politicalelectoral system that had defrauded its purpose braving clear and present danger on their safety and welfare.  The circumstances surrounding this revolution had evidently expressed the reality that individuals, irrespective of the consequences of their actions, are ready and in fact capable of facing dangers when perceived to have been unjustly deprived of their basic human rights.  The Orange Revolution then is a stern warning to all governments as well as their heads of state that it is innate for every citizen to seek for assurances that his intrinsic rights are both being delegated and respected.
