The Fall of Communism

COMMUNISM was universally affirmed as a governing framework that would transcend socio-political, economic, and trans-geographic disorder. It derived from the notion that to bring about happiness and prosperity for all, the distinctions between the rich and poor of society must be eliminated. And since the rich will never give up their goods or status voluntarily, a rebellion of the poor -- the working class -- is necessary.

Such belief, transcended through the multi-faceted armed vestiges of the Cold War, was meant to happen. Armed struggles occured in China, Cuba, Philippines, North Korea, Russia, China, some nations in Europe and  South America. Long before these struggles for  liberation, a global movement that sprang after the Holocaust was also meant to provoke the working class with their inherent right to demand and claim their rithgts.

Central to the communists ideal is that laborand the subsequent right to just wages and political participationshould be imbedded within the states labor and economic policies. But what happened in Europe and most in Central Asia clearly determined that labor rightsas espoused by communism was frail. It was meant to fail because there must be a social and clear distinction between the rich and the the poor.
But the fall of communism can be set within these clear obsverations.

The rich as a class is necessary. Why
Because They control and hold the power. By control Labor rates are being determined by those who employ the poor laborers. This would defeat the notion the labor is the highest order of human being. And definitely the reality proves otherwise five former Communist countries, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia (which used to bepart of Yugoslavia, anonaligned country) and the Slovak Republic. Three countries are also at the very bottom of life expectancy. The Communist legacy is also manifested in the low global competitiveness score where three ex-Communist countries, Poland, Romania, and Bulgari.  Polands unempolyment record is terrible, with almost 18 percent unemployed, followed by the Slovak Republic with over 16 percent unemployed. The Environmental Performance Index confirms the pattern of the six lowest performing countries in the environmental policy field, five are former Communist countries Slovenia, Hungary Poland, Bulgaria, and Romania. These data make clear that the cold war still has an influence on how well European countries are currently doing.

But why the fall
Becuase Of political and social disintegration Mass movements that demanded clear and apolitical inclinations waved through the Gorbachev and Regan regimes. The most daring political pronoucement was that that of Gorbachevs there must be an end to our wrong political beliefs. We must abandon communism.
As prelude, this led to the historic Berlin Wall and the subsequent abandonments of several armed movements to leave communusim. But not everything has changed. There is still Cuba with all its well-entrenched political and military system. There is still North Kore despite the pressures beinbg pounder by the US because of its nuclear-oriented policies. And there is still Pakistan even though it is not is communist county but upholds the principles of democracy and freedom  believing in the reunimon of  US and Islamic principles of justice and peace.
